Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Expressive and broad nose of red cherry, pomegranate, red currant, dark fruit crumble, violet, oak spice, and mint. Creamy and rich on the palate with potent flavours and fine-grained tannins. Quite full, but restrained and harmonious. Cassis and black cherry mixing with cocoa and oak spice. Pleasant tingling through the finish while cinnamon and clove notes replay. Stunning blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec that will drink well for at least five more years. Serve with roast lamb or steak tartare.
From the Clare Valley, Jeanneret 2016 is a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec red wine blend with cassis, cedar brush spice, earthy florals and dark chocolate aromas on the nose. full and lush on the palate, supple and silky with fine tannins. Enjoy now and for the next five years. Pair with grilled meats. - Community Wine Reviews
