Lovely aromas of black cherry and pepper on the nose. Robust, rich and mouth-filling. this isn't Beaujolais nouveau: there's far more depth and complexity here. Lots of mouth-watering acidity for a wide range of dishes from salmon to roast chicken and turkey.

Gamay food pairings: turkey, hamburgers, pizza.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lots of tart cherry, pepper, and an earthy undertone. Medium+ body, with bright acidity, and light tannins with lots of tart fruit on the palate. Tons of flavour! Enjoy with grilled salmon or pork.
From Georges Duboeuf, Lovely aromas of black cherry and pepper on the nose, full-bodied with tart cherry, black raspberry, pepper, and smoky on the palate with bright acidity and well-integrated tannins to match. So much flavour here. - Community Wine Reviews
