The wine is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes. It offers attractive black fruit, tar and smoky notes with a pleasant tannic grip and dryness on the palate. Decant 2 hours. Drink with a rare steak and enjoy.

Winner of a Gold Medal at the Concours Bordeaux vins d’Aquitaine 2012. It is important not to gush when tasting wine, but sometimes gushing is all you can do. Our panel was unanimous in its praise here. This blend of 80% Merlot with the rest Cab Franc is just gorgeous. Incredible depth and complexity on the nose with suggestions of licorice, new leather, and vanilla riding a wave of violets, cherry and rosemary. The palate is mouthfilling with generous helpings of black fruit. Structured and elegant from beginning to end. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, April 2013

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
