Gorgeous richness with ripe peach and toasted almond open the nose. Full-bodied and voluptuous. A magnificent wine for chardonnay lovers. Pair with roast chicken and corn dishes.

Chardonnay food pairings: semi-rich, creamy sauces, poached salmon in caper butter, lobster papardelle with chive butter, and roasted veal in a leek-mustard sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Very inviting nose of buttered toast, coconut oil, orchard fruit, grilled pineapple, cantaloupe and a touch of vanilla. It’s got some oomph and plenty of flavour concentration, yet stays lively and fresh thanks to a brilliant streak of acidity. A fine oaked Chardonnay that’s approachable now and should last 5+ years. The 2011 Grand Reserve Chardonnay is overflowing with notes of caramel and vanilla on the nose complemented by highlights of spice, apple, and butter. Similar flavours on the palate are accentuated by a round, creamy texture and a smooth lasting butterscotch finish. Source: Winery
