Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: fried herb-crusted and panko trout, chickpea lentil pea and potato curry, pizza with pork sausage.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Richly coloured, this Grand Reserve Sauvignon Blanc burst with fresh herbal notes, lemon grass, and exotic fruits. Fresh and fruity, this dry Sauvignon Blanc has great fruit concentration and balance with its lively acidity cutting through to a long crisp and clean finish. Enjoy with arugula, caramelized onion, peach, fig, rosemary, and goat cheese pizza. Tasted July 2016. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Carola Price rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Light and bright with a slightly subdued nose of grapefruit, pear and linden. Flavours of pink grapefruit, green apple, and straw. Pair with halibut and mango salsa, grilled pork with peaches, Souvlaki and Dutch cheeses. Drink now
Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate Grand Reserve (2013) Sauvignon Blanc is crisp, clean with a zesty acidity. Gooseberry, nettle and fresh cut grass are prominent on the nose with fresh gooseberry and lemon/lime citrus on the palate. One crisp wine! Grapes for this wine were gently pressed and cold-fermented. Pair with lemon sole. - Community Wine Review
