Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Medium ruby red, the nose shows sweet dark fruit, raisins, plums, and smoke. Medium-full bodied, the palate is dry and smooth with nice fruit concentration. A versatile wine to enjoy with fall and winter meals, summer BBQ, or enjoy on its own! Tasted September 2015. 88 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Amanda rated this wine as 1/100
This Californian red wine is grown in Paso Robles which has warm days and cool nights suited to Bordeaux grapes like Merlot. Pair with mushroom ragout. This wine underwent a full malolactic fermentation to soften its acids and was whole-berry fermented then matured for 12 months in American oak barrel, of which 22% was new. Although this is 86% Merlot, there is also 14% Malbec grapes in the blend. - Community Wine Reviews
