Vintages Wine Panel: The lot number and disgorgement date may differ from the review below but non-vintage Champagnes are designed in a consistent house style. The NV Brut Premier Cru Preference is a brighter more focused wine than the Cachet d’Or. The wine exhibits notable purity and focus in a medium-bodied style, as attractive suggestions of pears, flowers, mint, spices and minerals emerge. The lot # 4271 is identified on the cork, and this bottle was disgorged on January 14, 2008. AG. My note: A toasty, tasty bubble with pleasant approachability.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
