Reviews and Ratings

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Very pale straw with bright aromas of lemon and lime, apricot, minerality, and green apple. The taste is yellow and green apple with a medium-high acidity and a slippery mouth feel. Long lemony finish. Great with seafood!
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of grapefruit and melon and assorted citrus. Very clean with a long citrus finish. Tasted Jan 31/16
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine is platinum coloured and declared at 12.5% ABV. Aromatics of candied Granny Smith apple, wet limestone, lime zest. Zesty and refreshing acidity, crisp mouthfeel. Tasted Jan 2016.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Grapefruit, lime zest, dusty and light floral nose, dry and fairly mouthwatering, but not overly so, making it pleasant to sip on it's own. Finishes with a nutty note. Would be great with fish, shellfish, chicken, etc!
The Riesling grapes for this Alsatian white wine are grown in vineyards planted near the Weiss River in the alluvial soils with shallow, sandy soil, close to the Grand Cru vineyard of Schlossberg. Dry with lots of acidity on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews
