Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Liquid sunshine from Lodi! Aromas of golden apple, pear and pineapple, along with a touch of honeyed oak. Full bodied, smooth and rounded on the palate with a creamy texture, ripe, rich fruit notes on the palate and medium acidity. Nice balance between fruit, body, and acid, with a hint of tartness on the finish along with notes of honey and a bit of minerality. Enjoy with rich seafood, like scallops or lobster.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The Ivory & Burt 2019 Chardonnay from Lodi, California, exposes aromas of yellow apple, honeydew melon, apricot, lime peel, crème brulee and pie crust. Full body with soft acidity and a coating finish, this oaky Chardonnay delivers flavors of mango, pineapple, meyer lemon, spice, caramel and oak. Goes well with a raclette. Enjoy!
From the Lange Twins Family, Ivory & Burt 2019 Chardonnay is a supple and creamy Cali Chard with ripe apple, pineapple, tropical fruit and toasty oak spice flavours on the palate, balanced with food-friendly acidity. Pour with grilled Mahi Mahi topped with peach compote or a buttery halibut steak with a squeeze of Meyer lemon juice. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
