Natalie's Score: 88/100

Juicy, full-bodied and bursting with aromas of dark fleshy berries and plums. Nicely balanced and ultra smooth. A judicious time in oak barrels brings this wine together with some toasty notes and vanilla spice on the finish. It would be great with hearty meat dishes.

Merlot food pairings: roast beef, grilled chicken, baked ham, a classic cheeseburger, rich minestrone soup.

Reviews and Ratings

Lush plum pudding and berry bread aromas with a silky fruity-yet-dry medium-to-full body and a tangy, spicy, boysenberry, nut, and mineral finish with nice chewy tannins. [Excellently] balanced and vibrant for sipping or [pairing with] Asian beef dishes. Source: Score: 90 (tastings.com, Sept. 20, 2012) Full-bodied & Smooth
