Great value on this California Chardonnay with a splash of Viognier and Chenin Blanc from the Lodi wine region. Nice floral lift and good acidity on this medium-plus-bodied and dry Chardonnay with lots of oak spice, ripe peach and buttery flavours on the palate with a fresh, crisp finish. The blended wine aged five months in new French oak barrels. Pair with roast chicken. The Kautz family was the first family to plant Chardonnay grapes in Lodi and that experience with the varietal shows.

Chardonnay food pairings: pasta, shellfish, chicken breast, barbecued pork.

Excellent value on this California Chardonnay from the Lodi wine region. Ironstone is a classic California Chard, buttery bold with finesse. The winemaking Kautz family was the first family to plant Chardonnay grapes in Lodi and that experience with the varietal shows. This Chard has a bit of Viognier and Chenin Blanc mixed into the blend giving it a nice floral lift and good acidity. The blended wine spent five months in new French oak barrels. Pair with a pork roast. - Community Wine Reviews
