Great balance, depth, structure and concentration of flavour in this Columbia Valley red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Aromas of fleshy black plums, blackberry, toasty oak and cigar box. Polished tannins and a long, lovely finish. Pair with grilled steak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: meat lovers pizza, pork tenderloin, grilled sausage.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Coming to LCBO vintages this March. Beautiful label, like the dancing girl emoji brought to life! Aromas of ripe plum, cedar smoke, tobacco, blackberry, and some dried herbs. Full bodied with smooth tannins and lots of ripe fruit on the palate, and more of those smoky notes on the finish. Perfect with your next grilled steak or rich mushroom dishes.
Luxuriously smoky on the nose, Intrinsic 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon from Columbia Valley, Washington is rich on the nose with ripe dark plum aromas, blackberry and dried herbs. This is dry, medium-plus-bodied red wine with ripe blackberry, dried herbs, dried sweet tobacco leaf and savoury spice flavours on the palate. Really fine now. Pair with an equally delicious grilled filet mignon. - Community Wine Reviews
