A juicy, full-bodied BC red wine made from Merlot grapes. This wine was not filtered, leaving lots of flavour and character in the bottle. Aromas of ripe black plums and smoke. This wine was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. Decant 1 hour and pair with rare steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine is quite plush and full bodied. Lots of plummy, dark fruit and campfire smoke on the nose. Full bodied and luscious, quite fruit forward on the palate with some smooth tannin, and some moderate acidity. Quite a lengthy finish. Very nice overall, I would pair this with grilled flank steak or pork tenderloin.
