Cranberry juicy on the nose and palate. Could there be a better wine for Thanksgiving turkey? Medium-bodied and smooth with lots of racy acidity. Great value.

Pinot Noir food pairings: traditional clove studded baked ham, split pea soup, roast turkey, grilled salmon.

Reviews and Ratings

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Laid back aromas of dusty cherry, leather, and dried herbs. The taste is tart cherry and vanilla, with medium acidity and a little rounded tannins. A great Ontario Merlot for the price, and really, in general.
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Sour cherry and cranberry on the nose with a persistence of sour cherry on the palate. Lively acidity with medium body. Pair with charcuterie. Tasted Oct 02, 2016.
Nicole Lewis rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A brilliant garnet Pinot Noir that is offering up aromas of cherry, cranberry and freshly tilled black earth is now on sale for under $15 in time for Thanksgiving! A great value for flavours of sour cherry, cranberry and a soupçon of baking spice in a medium-bodied cloak and food-friendly acidity. It has a medium earthy red berry fruit finish. This wine would pair well with poached salmon or pork tenderloin.
