Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Demure yet displays an abundant bouquet featuring fuzzy white peaches, apricot, white blossoms and Clementine oranges. Flavours are divinely distinct with light crisp yellow apples, delectable starfruit and freshly picked green herbs. A faint touch of salinity also present. Acidity is medium plus but well evened out with the light gleaming body and lingering yellow plum fruit finish. Try this with pan seared scallops topped with apricot chutney. 90 points
Produced by Francesco Minini who established this winery in 1920, and now operated by the family's third generation of winemakers, Falanghina de Beneventana is made in the Campania province of Benevento. Falanghina del Beneventano is floral with white pear and apple flavours on the palate and an amazingly crisp acidity to pair with grilled seafood. - Community Wine Reviews
