Natalie's Score: 88/100 Outstanding wine for the money! Produced by San Esteban, this robust Chilean red wine comes from the winery's Winemakers Selection. It offers aromas of cassis and cedar with full-bodied richness. This wine is named after the river that divides it in half. The region of Aconcagua in Chile is extremely warm and dry, ideal for ripening rich, full-bodied red wines. It's supple and layered on the palate, like liquid velvet. I'd drink this wine with hearty meat dishes.
Carmenere food pairings: pork tenderloin.
