Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A crisp, clean and impressive unoaked white wine. The aromas were subtle but the medium bodied palate showed bushels of ripe lime, lemon and tangerine flavours framed by mild honey notes and hints of saline. The citrus flavours took centre stage on the finish. Crafted from 100% Coda di Volpe grapes, this Il Poggio offering comes from Sannio, an appellation located in Italy’s Campania region. Enjoy.

From the Campania wine region and produced by Riolite, Il Poggio aburno Sannio 2018 is made with Coda di Volpe wine grapes, a floral and fruity wine with ripe melon, pink grapefruit and lemon zesty flavours on the palate. Food-friendly, enjoy it with grilled mahi mahi, or crab cakes. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
