Gorgeous mousse with a lovely balanced freshness on the palate. Frothy good aromas of green apples and white pear. Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes using the traditional champagne method of the second fermentation in the bottle. Extraordinary length and satisfaction! Could this be Canada's best bubbly?

Cuvee Peter F. Huff food pairings: oysters, sushi.

Named Cuveé Peter F. Huff 2006 in honour of Lanny and Catherine Huff’s late son this sparkling is a proud addition to the Huff Estates roster of fine wines. The all-county Blanc de Blancs is fashioned in the méthode traditionnelle manner and aged 3 years on lees. Huff’s is the only winery in Prince Edward County to release a first and second vintage of methode championoise sparkling wine.

Our crisp-edged 2006 cuvee displays a distinctive County minerality with underlying aromas of mandarin, orange peel, citrus, ginger and a hint of nuttiness. Blessed with a delicate mousse, it is augmented with flavours of dried apricot, toasted bread and freshly baked lemon pie, yet balanced with a subtle perception of sweetness. Brut--ifal stuff.
