Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

Full disclosure: Scotland's most northerly distillery - Highland Park - is one of my favourite distilleries in Scotland. Pretty much all their labels have bewitched me. If you have appreciated the 12, by all means, indulge yourself with the 18. HP 18's seductive aromas include: vanilla sweetness, salted caramel, fresh brioche, baking spices and hints of cereal. The flavours perfectly mimic the aromas with caramel, baking spices, and dried fruit sticking out to the finish.

This is rich and spicy with Highland Park’s calling cards of peat, heather, honey, and smokiness. One of the world’s great whisky experiences, this is a smooth and flavour-packed single malt built for serious enjoyment.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
