From Rosomel Vineyard on the Beamsville Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine region, Hidden Bench (2016) is a full-bodied Fumé Blanc with rich tropical fruit notes, gooseberry and hazelnut flavours finishing with a flinty citrus freshness. The fruit for this wine is organically grown and certified. It is 100% estate grown. A hazelnut-rich white with refreshing notes of white peach and green apples. Succulent and full-bodied with an opulent texture. Pair with roast chicken.

Fumé Blanc food pairings: chicken and sage skewers, fresh tomato and basil salad, Thai green curry fish, smoked oyster Poor Boy sandwiches.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Nice! This was engaging yet simple. Pale lemon green colour with yellow apples, nectarines and smoked pears with touches of flinty graphite. Medium plus acidity with a medium minus body and finish. Light and refreshing. Perfect to sip with goat’s cheese topped salad with mixed greens, toasted nuts and herb dressing. - tasted March 2018
