From the Beamsville Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine region, Hidden Bench Locust Lane is produced from mostly Pinot Noir in a combination of direct-press and saignée methods. The winery is certified organic and the rosé is bright, sleek and elegant with wild strawberry, rhubarb, fresh blue florals and fine herb flavours creamy on the palate. Balanced with brilliant acidity for food. Pour with grilled shrimp, chicken and creamy cheeses.

Rosé food pairings: ham and Swiss cheese sandwiches, cold turkey sandwiches, fish cakes.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This wine is so pretty and perfect for summer. Aromas of strawberry with a hint of cherry, along with notes of tangerine and lime. Light bodied with a crisp, fresh palate balancing fresh red berry notes and a hint of citrus. Enjoy with any shellfish. As mentioned, this wine is perfect for summer, but if you can manage to save a bottle, this would also be lovely with a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner.
