Mostly a Grenache-Mourvèdre blend, the 2015 Miss Harry Harriet's Blend does have a smattering of Cinsault and Carignan. This is a medium-bodied, dry red with lots of ripe red cherry, dusty herb and cake spice flavours on the palate. Drink or hold. Pair with barbeque pork chops and game sausages.

Food pairings: BBQ beef ribs, grilled lamb, sausage and chick pea casserole.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A blend from Australia's Barossa Valley with mainly Grenache and Mourvedre, along with small amounts of Cinsault & Carignan. Shows bright fruit flavours, spicy and herbal hints.
Keep this in mind for your first barbeque!
From the Barossa Valley, Hewitson's Miss Harry 2015 is a full-bodied Southern Rhone Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Carignane red wine blend. Full-bodied, smooth and supple with black plums, ripe red berry, savoury herbs and smoky flavours on the palate. The wine is fresh, vinified 15% whole bunch grapes and matured in previous-use French oak for 16 months. Enjoy now and for the next eight years. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
