Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Wow! So Fresh, you need to tell it to behave itself ;) Hester Creek Estate Winery’s 2021 Pinot Bianco is dry, medium-bodied with medium-plus acidity: delicately fragrant with spring florals, fine leafy herbs and brilliant with fresh green apple, leafy herbs, fennel, liquorice root, white pepper, citrus and vanilla flavours all playing nicely on the palate. Well-balanced and precisely crafted.

The 2021 Pinot Bianco is produced from hand-harvested grapes mostly from Blocks 4 and 9 of the winery’s estate vineyards on the Golden Mile Bench with a portion of the grapes (30%) sourced from Stone’s Throw Vineyard on Black Sage Road in Oliver, British Columbia. About 85% of the wine juice was cool fermented in stainless steel tanks with 13% fermented in two French François Frères oak barrels giving the wine a silky and rounded mouthfeel. Enjoyed on its own October 2022.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine is so pretty and has me craving warm spring weather. Aromas of melon, white florals, and a touch of fresh green herbs, Dry, medium bodied, with medium acidity, lovely bright citrus notes on the palate, and a fresh "green" note on the finish, along with a touch of minerality. Enjoy with any fresh seafood, or a creamy shrimp pasta.
