A rich, full-bodied, luscious Baco Noir made from old vines, which concentrate the flavour and depth of the wine. Aromas of fleshy ripe black plums, blackberries and smoke. Perfect for grilled meats.

Baco Noir food pairings: venison, lamb or steak, spicy pasta dishes with rich tomato sauces.

Reviews and Ratings

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This producer, in the opinion of many, is the preeminent producer for Baco. Their wines have great structure and richness. Quite soft and gentle too.
Deep, glasscoating ruby and purple. Aromas of plum, licorice, chocolate, and cherry jam. There's some florality too.
The flavours are juicy and satisfying. Somewhat surprising acidity for baco, but then again it is young. It keeps the fruit alive and fresh.
This wine is so young still, but is delicious now. Ideal barbecue red.
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

My favourite Baco Noir comes from Heny of Pelham. This one doesn't disappoint! Smoky notes with dark plum and blackberries linger on the palate. Rich and robust. Pair this wine with grilled, rare beef or burgers.
