Henry of Pelham Estate 2020 Gamay is produced from grapes sourced from the winery's south-facing vineyard on the Short Hills Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine region that is one of Niagara's warmest wine regions. Fragrant with violets, bright red cherry, berry aromas and flavours, the wine is balanced with food-friendly acidity and lingers on the finish with a kiss of pepper spice. A lip-smacking good Gamay, enjoy it lightly chilled with a grilled skirt steak or pork tenderloin.

Gamay food pairings: pepper steak, veal chops, lentil stew.

Reviews and Ratings

Henry of Pelham Estate 2020 Gamay is produced from sustainably grown grapes sourced from the winery's south-facing vineyard -- one of the warmest areas in the Short Hills Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine region. Pretty on the nose with fresh violets, bright cherry and dark berry aromas, it is just as fresh and juicy on the palate with ripe Bing cherry, red berry, anise and pepper spice flavours. Enjoy it with sirloin steaks from the grill. - Community Wine Reviews
