A plush, juicy BC Pinot Noir that was "raised in concrete" meaning that it was aged in concrete tanks for 11 months, after being fermented with wild yeasts. This is the fourth vintage of their Canonview Pinot Noir made from grapes planted in a small vineyard overlooking the Trout Creek Canyon. Aromas of fleshy ripe strawberries, cherries and wild berries with some spice. Medium-bodied, juicy and smooth. Pair with veal, grilled chicken and happy gatherings.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Awesome Pinot, with a bit of a funky note, that really delivers. Lots of tart cherry, field strawberry, and earthy notes on the nose. Think fresh earth after a rain. Pale in colour, but big on flavour, this wine was fermented with wild yeasts and aged in concrete eggs, leading to fresh, vibrant flavours, and bright acidity. Those earthy notes are still prominent on the palate too. So enjoyable and worth a try. For me, this is a sipping red that you could even enjoy with a slight chill on it, or try with a mushroom risotto.
