A vivacious white, with refreshing notes of peach and pear. The pinot gris adds lift and brightness to the creaminess of the chardonnay. Not too heavy; just right. Satisfy your thirst.

Chardonnay Pinot Gris food pairings: crab ravioli, creamy bacon carbonara.

wine festival good value need to buy
Jason Solanki rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

2011 vintage. Very smooth with apple, pear, citrus notes, mingling with peach aromas and flavours. Some earthy notes. Medium bodied wine with a medium-length finish that would make a very good appetizer wine. Yummy. Tasted May/2012.
The Gamble 2009 Chardonnay Pinot Gris is sourced from premium cool climate regions in South Australia. The fruit is gently pressed and handled, leading to a slightly fuller bodied and flavoursome wine. The peachy and creamy flavours of the Chardonnay add to the pear, green apple and minerality of the Pinot Gris.
