Lovely! Rich and full-bodied with some mocha wrapped itself luxuriously around a core of fleshy black plums. Smooth.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Stewed mulberry, black plum skin, sweet earth, fig paste, spice, melted licorice, and a hint of graphite. Lots going on here. Drink now through 2015. 91 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pleasant fruit aroma with mild spicy edges. Good acidity balancing its smooth medium tannins. Distinct smoky finish on the palate a mild coffee note. Short tannic finish. The blend of Mourvèdre and Grenache mellows out the often overpowering South African shiraz. This wine should be even smoother with a year or two more, but is not likely to gain in complexity.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
