A sparkling non-vintage Blanc de Blanc, bright and fresh with a persistent mousse of zesty lemon, bright apple, mineral flavours and mouth-watering acidity. Great value on this enjoy-now bubble from the New Mexico wine region. Produced from 100% Chardonnay made in the traditional method and aged on its lees for 24 months.

Blanc de Blancs Sparkling food pairings: salads, smoked salmon, fish tacos.

Gruet Sauvage Blanc De Blancs Sparkling wine is fragrant on the nose with fresh lemon, clean mineral and bright apple aromas. Bone-dry with a persistent mousse fresh on the palate with mouth-watering acidity. There is no dosage in this bubble. Gilbert Gruet founder of Gruet Winery was born in Bethon, France in 1931. In 1983, the Gruet family travelled to the Southwestern United States and in New Mexico met up with a group of European winemakers with vineyards In Engle, near the town of Truth or Consequence, 170 miles south of Albuquerque. The land was inexpensive and In 1984, Gilbert Gruet, whose Champagne house, Gruet et Fils had produced fine Champagne in Bethon, France, since 1952, planted an experimental vineyard in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
