Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Full on California Chardonnay that may find some ABC holdouts with the rich and overtly movie theatre popcorn aromas and flavours. A little heavy handed for some, maybe, but not for me. Lemon, tomato leaf, warm with tropical fruit and alcohol. Not a sipping Chardonnay so pair it with something of equal weight - buttery seafood, lobster bisque, roasted chicken with stuffing.
Tasted: April 2017
This Californian Chardonnay from Groth Hillview Vineyard (2014) is whole- cluster pressed and rests on its lees giving the wine more body and complexity prior to be being oaked in new French oak barrel. - Community Wine Reviews
