Reviews and Ratings

Gwen Barton rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A bright and fruity unoaked Niagara Chardonnay. Light to medium bodied with green apple, pear and citrus notes. Wonderfully balanced - easy drinking, dry and refreshing. Pair with oven fried whitefish and saffron rice.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A great expression of a VQA Ontario Chardonnay, chalk full of crisp flavors and enticing aromas! Hints of ripe pineapple, green apple and lemon. Well balanced flavors of pear, lime zest, a subtle hint of freshly baked apple crisp, complimented by a zippy acidity. Exceptional value @ under $13
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This tasty and value priced unoaked VQA Chardonnay from Good Natured Wine (Peller Estate Family) is a great summer sipper. Ripe tropical fruit and citrus aromas with white stone fruit on the palate. I

If you close your eyes and inhale you can visualize a fresh fruit basket of pears, lemons, limes, pineapple and apples! Dry (only 6 g/l sugar) and light bodied with a medium finish. The price is right and there are a lot available in the LCBO stores in Ontario at this time. A great patio/deck wine for the summer! Tasted July 2021
David Skinner rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Light lemon yellow and clean. The nose offers tropical fruit and some citrus notes. Medium acidity with mango, lemon zest, pineapple and spice on the palate. A medium finish.

This would go nicely with pizza Bianco.
L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Truly a good natured wine! Pale lemon coloured with a greenish tint, off dry, medium bodied balanced wine, with a pronounced aroma of yellow pear, citrus and a hint of baking spice that evolves over time. Flavour is definitely sweet yellow pear with a hint of spice. The wine paired very well with roast chicken and roasted root vegetables but not the green salad with vinaigrette. This would be a very pleasant wine to sip on its own.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Ontario seems to have the knack for cultivated beautiful Chardonnay and this beauty from Good Natured Farm and Winery doesn’t disappoint.
Aromas of red apple and tropical fruit fill the glass, and carry through to an apple and lime finish. An easy drinking, back deck sipper perfectly paired with strawberry and spinach salad, or cheese boards.
Tasted April 2021.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Agreeable with no compromise, the Good Natured 2020 Chardonnay, from the Peller Estate Family located in the Niagara Region, offers aromas of pineapple, pear, citrus blossom, saline and vanilla. Medium-bodied, this Chardonnay exposes delicious acidity, and a round and fruity finish, melding it a perfect for pairing with a delicious blue cheese or for sipping. Palate: yellow apple, lime peel, mango, saline and pie crust. Enjoy!
Janet Holden rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This Ontario chardonnay has very pleasant aromas of fresh apple, lemon, pear, pineapple and butter. On the palate, it is freshly acidic, yet has a smooth finish. It was a perfect compliment to a chicken pot pie!
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A fresh VQA Ontario Chardonnay from Peller Estates’ - Good Natured Winery. The aromas open with green apple, pear and a variety of tree fruit. There’s more tropical fruit in flavour; finishing with mango, pineapple, and lemon citrus. A light body with a whipped butter mouthfeel. Dry with zesty acidity that balances nicely against the body. Try this with baked brie or seafood salad.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Created in Ontario’s Niagara Peninsula appellation, this chardonnay's pronounced scents of green apple with hints of nuttiness and butter preceded a light bodied palette brimming with sliced apple flavours and crisp acidity. Easy drinking and ready to be enjoyed, so chill and serve.
