Cherry-berry, supple and round with attractive depth and richness. The cool climate of California's Anderson Valley is ideal for Pinot Noir. This wine blends fruit from the winery estate and top growers and 19 clones of Pinot Noir. Shapes by the influence of wind, water, fog and time. Seamless finish. Aged in 70% new French oak for 16 months.

This Pinot Noir is one of the most complex I have come across in a while. There are layers of aromas and flavours that peel away each time you taste it. Lots of red fruits and berries - strawberry, raspberry, cranberry, stewed rhubarb. There is oak on the nose, but it masks itself well offering light aromas of vanilla. It is beautifully aromatic! The palate offers great acidity, and all of those layers of flavours. Cranberry and strawberry/rhubarb are the forefront of the palate, especially after it has been able to breath, there is full raspberry and some greenness present as well. The oak is a little more present on the palate, but blends so well with the berry flavours that it just adds to the complexity. Each nose and sip offers something new. An amazingly crafted wine to enjoy!
The grapes for this cool-climate Californian Pinot Noir come from four estate vineyards and offers attractive dark fruit aromas and flavours. Nice finish. - Community Wine Reviews
