Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A light and lively sparkling from the south of France. Delicate tiny billowing bubbles with a creamy fluffy lingering mousse. Aromas encompass toasted almonds, yellow apples and delicate white blossoms. Flavours echo much of this with the addition of green apple, asian pears and nutmeg. Acidity is medium plus and superbly balanced. Gorgeous! A perfect weekend starter, or an accompaniment with cheesy apps and a good movie. 90 points - Tasted October 2018
Simon Chen rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

it's cheesy and meaty on the nose! A moderate level of bubbles and flavors. It's a bit creamy, sweet, and short finish on the acid.
Jennifer Carter rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The first smell I got was Parmesan cheese. Flavors of pastry and green apples. Very fine bubbles. A mouth watering acidity that leaves clean finish on the palate. I want to drink this with the baked brie and green apple appetizer.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Light and zesty wine, with notes of grapefruit zest, apple, parmesan, apple blossom, and slate. Medium level of acidity, a great aperitif with raw seafood, shaved vegetable and parmesan salad, or also would be a neutral base for mimosa or holiday punch (without breaking the bank).
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Jefferson, the globe-trotting founding father, had a sincere interest in viticulture and wine. Hos love of Bordeaux and Tuscany is well known, but his interest in the south of France is perhaps less discussed.
Gerard Bertrand is a producer that is almost ubiquitous in southern France.
This cuvee, a blend of Mauzac, Chenin, and Chardonnay is a great example of Limoux's cooler potential.
Fresh, floral and crisp. It's very dry, lean and refreshing. The bubbles are persistent; the colour is pale straw.
Aromas of honeysuckle, sourdough, peapod, peach, and gala apple.
The flavours are refreshing and medium bodied. More autolytic characylter, and with a touch more spice than the nose .
Pair with some oysters Rockefeller, or some calamari. Really a perfect seafood wine.
Pam Hatton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Restrained stone fruit on the nose. Stone fruit and apple on the palate Crisp acidity with very dry and a bit of a hot finish.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An easy drinking sparkler with apple and lemon notes throughout. Medium acidity and small consistent bubbles. Tasted November 2018.
Wineboy rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A yeasty sparkling with crisp acids and binned apples on the nose and replayed on the palate. Fully dry.
