The best of classic beaujolais nouveau to crack open. Zippy cherry flavours. Finishes with a smile. Terrific with bistro dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Travis Oke rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Good solid wine - however, I think it falls in the light Cru Beaujolais category rather than the Beaujolais Nouveau. Think of it as the gourmet bubblegum of the lot. Ripe cherry fruit. Pricey for what you get.
Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

I just love the flower labels on the Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau bottles -- young, fresh, wild and fun -- just like the Nouveau, and this year's Nouveau does not disapoint. Fresh cherries, some strawberry, violets and light tannins come together to create this Nouveau's structure. Yes, the Gamay wine is young -- harvested just six to eight weeks ago, bottled and shipped to every part of the world to be released in stores on the third Thursday in November. But if this wine is any indication of the Beaujolais to come (which it usually is) it will be a very good year. Have fun with it and enjoy! Cheers
Lesley Quinn - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Delicious ripe cherry fruit with more tannins than you expect from such a nouveau wine. A hint of salinity remains and the freshness I have seen in other Beaujolais Nouveau was slightly lacking. Still very easy to drink on it's own or with a Turkey sandwich.
