Sweet cherry liqueur aromas and flavours along with some mint-medicinal notes on the nose and palate of this robust Australian Pinot Noir. Supple and smooth. Pair with veal or lamb chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Medium plus acidity, medium tannins, fruit. Balanced. Tart and tangy raspberry and cherry with savoury. Pairs well with seared salmon, tuna tartar, or antipasti. Tasted 2016 vintage after 1h decant in Jan 2018. 88 points
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Medium ruby colour with a bright, elegant bouquet revealing red cherries, strawberries, red mineral earth, orchid florals, warm Coca Cola, truffles and light toasted coconut. Unique and enjoyable aromas going on here. Flavours too, are fresh and lively showing tart bing cherry, raspberry, cranberry, dark bakers chocolate, licorice and hint of gaminess. High acidity with a light body, medium tannins and finish. It’s still young but quite fresh. Pair with venison carpaccio and medium cheeses. 87 points - tasted January 2018
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Moderate cherry and floral aromas with ripe and somewhat candied red cherry notes. Tannins are mild and acidity is moderate. Overall, a pleasant simple light-bodied Pinot Noir. It makes for a great party pleaser wine. Enjoy with friends! Tasted Jan 2018 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
