Love this, especially at this price point! It's full-bodied, but not heavy with attractive mocha and black fruit aromas. Some smoke on the finish. Almost a coffee-like warmth and depth. Very comforting indeed.

Merlot Cabernet food pairings: roasted meats and some Asian dishes, roasted chicken, spicy pad-thai as well as a variety of aged cheeses.

Our 2009 Merlot Cabernet is full of red berry
fruit, cocoa, cedar and tobacco. The ripe,
fruity palate offers further complexity in the form of coffee, oak spice and mint.
