Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (87%) and Cabernet Franc (13%) this medium bodied red is fruit forward with aromas and flavors of raspberry, blackberry, smoke, dark chocolate, and a hint of leather. The tannins are well rounded and quite smooth. Great with a homemade ratatouille.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Vegetal and herbal notes woven into some sweet dark fruit, makes this dry Ontario Meritage (blend of Merlot, Cab Sauv, Cab Franc) a nice wine to enjoy with herb crusted roasts. 87 points.
Marquis, The Silver Line Epic (2013) is a full-bodied red from the Niagara Peninsula wine region. The red wine blend is 87% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Cabernet Franc. Ripe blackberry, raspberry notes can be found on the nose with ripe berry, dark chocolate and capusin flavours on the palate matched by a vibrant acidity. Pair with grilled steak. - Community Wine Reviews
