A gorgeously rich and full-bodied Californian white wine made from the classic Chardonnay grape. The grapes are dry farmed and it shows here in the depth and complexity of this wine. Aromas of toasted almond and golden apple. Pair with roast chicken or turkey.

Chardonnay food pairings: scallops with a sesame ginger dressing, spinach and pepper jack stuffed chicken, beef bourguignon, pan-fried cod with lemon butter sauce, toasted ravioli served with Alfredo sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Beautiful mouthwatering acidity, tart and tightly woven aromatics of white peach, green apple, raw almonds, a hint of lime zest and savoury. Medium plus body, high acidity, this wine is made for food. Paired well with roasted turkey dinner and a citrus infused Cranberry sauce. Tasted 2015 vintage in Oct 2017. 92 points. BespokeTastings
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

According to the winemaker, this wine spent an entire four (that's it!) days in oak, before transfer to concrete for 10 months. The resulting wine is lovely and balanced, with some softness but no overwhelming oak notes. Warm yellow apple, a touch of honey and a bit of roundness on the palate, with some balanced acidity to lengthen the finish. This wine would really pair well with almost anything, from fish, seafood, pork or chicken, with a range of seasonings. Enjoy!
