Natalie's Score: 90/100 This IGT-designated red wine has lots of heft and character. It unfolds with juicy black fruit and some smoke. The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Sangiovese grapes. Tannic grip with a bitter bite on the finish. Try it tonight with meat lovers' pizza.
Food pairings: gourmet pizza, meaty pasta.

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review: A wonderful Super Tuscan blend that's sure to please. Deep intense colour, dark fruits, cherry, currants, anise, baking spice, and leather. Big and bold, this is a serious wine that would pair wonderfully with braised beef dishes, meat lovers pizza, spaghetti, or simply enjoy on its own. Enjoy now or allow it to age and enjoy the benefits from short to medium term cellaring. Tasted October 2014. 91 points. Matt Steeves @QuercusVino
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: August 17, 2014: Deep ruby, savoury nose with cassis, dried cherry, dried herbs, mineral/graphite and light baking spice. Repeat on the palate along with tobacco and earth notes and a long finish. Elegant, with fine chalky tannins and balanced acidity. Pair with grilled tenderloins and sauted mushroom.
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: Deep ruby in colour, this wine has intense, rich dark fruit, pungent spices, with developing herbal and forest floor notes. With refreshing acidity and robust tannins, it is one for aging. Pair with spiced sausage in a complex tomato sauce. Enjoy today, or cellar 5 - 8 years. Date tasted: August 2014.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: Deep ruby colour with thick legs. This wine is still developing. Plenty of rich dark fruit, vanilla, toast, cedar, eucalyptus, garrigue. The palate lends anise, pepper, raisin. Tannins are hefty and the wine is dry. Acidity Medium+. Length is long and warming finish. Suggest cellaring 5+ years. Pair with Prime Rib, roasted lamb, meat lovers pizza! Decant 1-2 hrs Tasted: August 2014 #ottawawines

Alice Kubicek rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review: Medium ruby with aromas of cherries, plums and strawberries and hints of biscuit, chocolate and coffee. A creamy mouthfeel with medium acids and supple tannins. Medium bodied, this Chianti has a long pleasant finish. To be drunk today or the near future with pomodoro sauces and dry cheese.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: Aromas of black plums and cherries, smoke, cloves, and a touch of cedar. The taste is black fruit, with a nice acidity and a bit of grippy tannins, but not too much.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: Aromas of deep red fruit and cassis. Oak is evident but not overwhelming. Also a little bit smoky. Cassis and dried currant on the palate. Tannins are young and grippy.

Floral notes of crab apple blossom and cedar chips. On the palate, freshly picked fruit, black berries, black currants and cherries, wood notes and green tobacco leaves. Leather tones and white pepper spice. Great tannins and a good spice. A good mid week wine that would lend itself to any meal with ease.
