Love this! Big juicy purple and black plums, fleshy ripe blackberries with layers and layers of flavour. Full-bodied and smooth with just enough oak. Perfect for barbecue and meat lovers' pizza.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Blackberries, vanilla, sweet black licorice, cherry tobacco (the kind Health Canada is starting to ban), hint of black raspberry and warm baking spices. Fruit bordering on compote. Toasty oak but not overpowering. Hint of menthol on the finish. I'm 91 on this wine. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Nina rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Classic Californian Cabernet Sauvignon!
Rich deep ruby color. On the nose flavors of blackberries, raspberries, oak, tobacco. On the palate lot's of black currant, little bit of cedar, soft tannins. This wine is better after decanting, needs to breath. Long, round, flavorful finish.
This wine is great by itself, for sipping, as well as good with rich meat dishes.
Dianne Fisher - Sommelier, ISG rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A true Cabernet with a masculine personality. Dominated by notes of iron, cassis with full on blackberry and raspberry fruit. The tannins are robust for this 2008 vintage and would pair well with hearty lamb and beef dishes. A good value for California Cabernet.
