Geoffrey Lindsay reviewed this wine as follows:

Sofia is named after vineyard owner and director Francis Coppola’s very talented daughter. The wine is a hard colour to describe. It is redder then pink with blue and purple highlights, if you don’t believe me go get a bottle and try to describe the colour. On the nose candied strawberries, candied watermelon, juicy fruit and Welch’s grape juice. There are Macintosh apples, strawberries and watermelons on the palate. The acidity is definitely on the lower side, while not flabby it’s fighting that borderline battle. This is a wine to sip on the dock or deck before dinner, or maybe instead of the afternoon coffee.
Although the neon deep pink colour signals depth in this rose, it's actually surprisingly light on the flavour spectrum. Some strawberry and faint cherry. Pair with grilled vegetables or Portabella mushrooms. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
