Juicy with black cherry and mocha notes. Satin texture and medium-bodied. Slippery good! The warm climate shows through the rich fruitiness and texture of this wine. Lots of lovely toasty oak. Pair with watching Dracula.

Pinot Noir food pairings: planked salmon, pasta with a cream sauce, turkey dinner, grilled radicchio, eggplant parmigiana, lamb burgers.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A lovely medium-bodied California Pinot. Velvety smooth and mildly tannic. Dark cherry, vanilla, herbal, floral and oak. Some milk chocolate comes through mid-palate.pizza. Not an overly long finish but pleasant. Enjoyed on it's own. Would be great with Marguerita
There is a very pleasing brightness to the aromas here. Lovely touches of red roses and red cherry with smoke and beet notes providing depth. Structured and generous in the mouth, there is a sunny quality to the fruit that echoes the brightness of the nose quite beautifully. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Sept. 2013
