Lots of toasty oak on the nose and palate of this full-bodied California Chardonnay. Some golden apple on the palate. This finish has more oak and smoke. Pair with roast chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: roast chicken, veal chops in white wine sauce, creamy pasta dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Along with stone fruit aromas, this oaky Chardonnay leans on the tropical fruit spectrum with aromas of pineapple, lychee and even a little banana. There are also hints of honey and white pepper.

On the palate, there is pineapple flavours as well as stone fruit. At the slightly bitter finish there is walnut and hazelnut and you can taste wood notes. It is creamy and full bodied with a long finish.
