Lovely hazelnut, toasted almond on the nose from oak aging followed by generously fleshy ripe peach notes. Full-bodied and delicious. Perfect for corn on the cob.

Reviews and Ratings

Our Chardonnay is a fruit forward wine with aromas of pineapple, white peach and a hint of oak. Enjoy this wine with salmon, chicken or pasta.
This is our first Chardonnay produced with estate grown grapes. About 60% of the grapes came from Fort Berens Estate vineyard and the remaining from Sundial Vineyard, south of Oliver. The Chardonnay from our estate vineyard was picked on September 28th at 22.4 Brix with an extremely low yield of 1.5 tons per acre. The Chardonnay from Sundial vineyard was picked on October 10th at 21.4 Brix. About a third of the volume was fermented in new and used French barrels, while the remainder was fermented cool in stainless steel tanks. About 30% of the Chardonnay was aged in French barrels until bot-tling on June 5th 2012.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
