Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

And the pioneering spirit continues at Fort Berens Estate Winery with the new release of their Camels Rosé, a three-litre (3000ml) boxed rosé made from organically-grown Pinot Noir grapes.

This is a beautiful, summertime, fun-loving and fruity rosé, dry, medium-bodied and mouth-filling with ripe strawberry, red berry, watermelon, and rhubarb flavours on the palate.

The boxed wine is designed to fit perfectly in your fridge or cooler - convenient, portable, complete with pour spout. The winery states that “this packaging will keep your wine fresh for 4-6 weeks after opening.” I don’t think there is even a worry there. Price point is pretty delicious as well at $45.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
