Reviews and Ratings

Drink Wine and Giggle Gals rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The LCBO must think that there is a huge pent-up demand for Menage a Trois because they have thousands of bottles in inventory across Ontario. The Drink Wine and Giggle Gals aren't sure the wine deserves effusive language, but its marketing that features a pairing with R&B artist Melanie Fiona certainly does. This wine is a #1 bestseller in the US and enthusiastic promotion is the reason (check out the Menage a Trois website for an explosion of sight and sound--it does not play coy). Menage a Trois White is a lively blended wine that provides you with a spirited table topic in its name and an MBA case study in its brand management.
Vineyard and Winemaking:
The 2010 Ménage à Trois white marries
Chardonnay, Muscat and Chenin Blanc. Each
variety is individually harvested, gently crushed
and coldfermented in small stainless steel tanks
to preserve freshness and character and retain the
juicy fruit aromas. The Chardonnay is rich and firm.
The Muscat is wild and exotic. The Chenin is soft and
supportive. Together they make the perfect threesome.
Tasting Notes:
The 2010 Ménage à Trois white is a trip to the islands
without the worry of sunburn or bugs. It’s undeniably
fruity and unabashedly easy. It’s meant to be quaffed, not
analyzed. The White blend brings together citrus and
tropical fruit flavors with crisp acidity. Dare we say
it’s refreshing? With
food or without,
alone or with two
companions,
this is one of the
most exhilarating
experiences
imaginable.
