Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Delicate grassy notes open on the nose with blossom floating atop. Pronounced ripe orchard apple on a somewhat off-dry, floral palate. Feminine and approachable. Silky and round. This will be very versatile to enjoy on its own or with pork tenderloin or poultry. Tasted Dec 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

An Ontario Riesling, "Fogolar" means hearth or fireplace, bringing forward the image of a food friendly wine that would appeal to a wide variety of palates and more importantly, to so many food pairings. A light wine at 9.1%, aromas of apple and mineral on the palate. A slightly sweet finish with go well with Thai and Indian dishes, appetizers and ripe cheeses.
The Riesling wine grapes for this Niagara Peninsula juicy white wine are hand-harvested and whole-cluster pressed. Off-dry with ripe apple, peach and clean mineral flavours on the palate finishing with liquid lemon acidity. Pair with schnitzels, grilled pork chops Korean ribs. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
