A full-bodied golden Niagara Chardonnay with baked apple and pear, pasty dough and soft lemon. Look for baked apple, vanilla and toasted nut flavours creamy and smooth on the palate.

Chardonnay food pairings: pan fried scallops, spinach and pepper jack stuffed chicken, toasted ravioli served with Alfredo sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Enticing pale golden colour. Fabulous nose of ripe yellow apple, pear, honey, citrus and a hint of spice. Plush and creamy on the palate - more ripe fruit and a nice tart zing of lemon acidity with a lingering fruity-spice finish - just splendid! This would be great with all sorts of vegetarian dishes.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a beautiful wine, aromas include golden apple, pear, honey, and a hint of creamy vanilla. Full bodied, smooth and creamy on the palate, with ripe, juicy citrus and orchard fruit notes, and a soft, honey and vanilla note on the finish. Enjoy with classic herb-roasted chicken.
This is a beautifully-crafted Chardonnay from the Twenty Mile Bench on the Niagara Escarpment. A plush Chardonnay, the "Rusty Shed" comes from their best vineyards and is aged in the best barrels from the winery. The result is a complex wine with multiple layers. Aromas of vanilla, butter and peach, dry with white stone fruit, ripe apple, vanilla and nutty flavours delivered on a smooth and creamy palate. - Community Wine Reviews
