Hello oak! This is a first on this wine so go so generous with the smoke treatment. Still a very good wine with fleshy ripe red fruit and juicy mouth-watering goodness.

Food pairings: barbecued braised chicken, marinated ribs.

Reviews and Ratings

Flat Rock keeps a tight lid on the final blend of this wine, but you can bet Pinot Noir plays a major role. Deep purple-ruby with inviting aromas of black raspberry, cherry, spiced plum, smoke, violets and wet stones. Dry, medium bodied, fruit-driven and youthful with bright acidity and round, velvety tannins. Nice interplay of spicy fruit and minerality on the finish. Cellar for 1-3 years, or try it tonight.VP
