Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Sustainably crafted in Ontario's Twenty Mile Bench VQA region. Tart cherry, sous bois and mocha aromas, followed by the same on a smooth, well-balanced palate that exhibits excellent acidity. Yummy mocha lingers on the finish. This is the Pinot Noir that makes Ontario proud! Very food-friendly, so you can serve it with turkey, roast duck, cod stew or chocolate cake.

Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Extremely aromatic and delicious, as always. Flat Rock. Are always quite able to deliver aromatic amd expressive Pinot Noir. This one is on the lighter end of the spectrum. It is so compelling aromatically.
Pale ruby/pink hues, it explodes as you with chestnut, petunia, earth, and rosehip tea. Lots of red fruit too. Cherry, plum, and red apple.
The flavours are well preserved and show off the heat of the 2016 vintage. Cherry, craisin, and a tpuch more rosehip.
Pair this with some prosciutto or some parma.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Gentle and elegant with terrific value. Impressive nose of red cherry, raspberry, cranberry, violets, black pepper, beetroot, smoked meat, vanilla, and oak spice. Classically structured with high acid, medium body, and soft tannins, ultra food friendly. Sour cherry, beet, earth, briar, and vanilla on the palate with a hint of black pepper reappearing on the finish. You can pair this with nearly anything. My personal preferences are coq au vin and tuna tartare.
